On my iphone 11, I have been receiving multiple spam emails every day for the last month.  On my PC these same emails are caught and sent to 'junk email file'.  On my phone I have followed the standard spam methods such as click on the name of the sender and then choose 'block sender'.  However this doesn't stop the daily spam emails.  I have read that I should start using a new email address, but I am not quite sure how to do this.

I would appreciate your input.

Of course you are going to see Spam get through to a mobile email client since there is nothing at that level to capture and filter Spam. You have to filter spam at the server before it can be sent outside of that "walled garden". That means using a better email provider that allows you to filter from that end not from your end at your computer and other devices.
