Depends on whether you used the function correctly.  When using that function, you have to specify what it is that you want to search...by clicking the appropriate option (forums)...by clicking the gray button where "This topic" is the default and putting a mark in the "Forums" option.

My results:  https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 .

Search works fine for me.

Thanks for that link Louis !  I've been a member of BC since 2008 and until just now have never noticed the little button for 'Advanced search' beside the simple 'Search' box. Just goes to show that it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks !
