How to fix traceroute command issues/install on Linux (fix for vismay)

Hello.

I will post this topic as an answer to vismay's topic published on 1 August.

Two fixes

1. Use the tracepath command instead. Example below :

tracepath www.google.com

2. Fix occured error messages with these commands (type them one by one) :

sudo apt-get install --fix-missing
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install traceroute

3. Test the traceroute command tracing www.google.com :

traceroute www.google.com
