When I use Mx-linux in non-systemD operation I was surprised to find that a systemD-UDEV process running. How can a system that does not run systemD start a systemD process ?

The reponse form Mx-linux dolphinoracle is

"udev is part of the systemd source these days, and that's its name. but its just usual ol' udev."

This does not make sense as to why SystemD is running on a Mx-linux system running sysvinit only ?

That does not answer the question. Why is Mxlinux using systemD at all when its default operation usies Sysvinit. Also O should add that they give the option to boot to systemD if the user chooses.

It appears that the Sysinit is incapable of performing all functions that the systemd can then it should not be used. so why is mxlinux using it ?

Why would any linux system use both Init systems System D and sysvinit ? I know that they run sysinit as the default.
