i have a motorola g6 which seems to be crashing a lot on some apps one is miniclip 8ball pool, but it seems to crash when the game plays ads, rather than an actual game.i have reloaded the app,but was wondering is it something to do with how the phone plays video?what are the options ,reluctent to re load android for fear of losing everything, but does it mean i need a new phone,is there a way to clean junk safely on android as you do a PC.

Clear app data and app cache, you need to go settings option, then app & notification then click on see all apps them open the app and click on storage & app and after that choose clear cache

tried that, but still the same,as i said originally it only seem to crash when playing video, which makes me think it is to do with how the phone plays video, have also reloaded chrome, google and firefox but no different, during normal game play it is okay.
