Have a motorola g6 with android 9,malaware bytes says my protection score is poor 66%,updated database and scanned still the same,click on boost your score and it tells me ,scan new apps,one or more of your apps have not been scanned,so i click scan now ,and after about an hour it is still the same.Is this a ploy to get me to upgrade to premium,click ignore will turn off notifications from trusted advisor and will no longer affect your protection score.don't know what they all are but doing a scan says scanned over 200 apps,i only have about 30 that i installed,should i get rid of malawarebytes,and use something else or nothing.

Yes, it is absolutely a ploy to get you to upgrade and to purchase all their other apps & features, such as their VPN, their "identity theft" protection, etc.
They use the same heavy-handed approach with their Windows applications and have done so for several years.
It is social psychology to scare you into buying more of their software.

As far as the number of apps scanned, it is scanning not only apps that you installed, but also apps that came pre-installed on your phone.

Edited to add: having said all that, Android 9 has been out of support for many years and no longer receives critical security updates. So, Malwarebytes marketing notwithstanding, you probably ought to consider upgrading to a newer phone with a more secure, supported OS.
