Since 2017 I've been using (off and on) HitFilm Express to splice and edit videos. For me, it's a rather complicated process that I don't look forward to. After all, I only do this every couple of years and it's a pain to have to relearn all over again.
About all I need is a way to splice my clips with a fade-in or fade-out or a fade-across, add a title, perhaps add a bit of music, and save them in MP4 format. All my movie clips are 60 fps, so I would need to be able to save them in 30 fps too.
I've thought about using Windows 10's CyberLink Power Director or CyberLink Power Director 365, neither of which I've tried. Would one of those do what I want while being easier than HitFilm, or is there an easier alternative?
