How to mute your audio



Guide Overview

This guide gives instructions on muting the audio on your computer.

Instructions
  • Click on the Start button and then Control Panel.

  • In the Control Panel double-click on the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.

  • Under Device Volume put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Mute.

Once you have the volume icon on your taskbar, you can simply click on the icon and select mute.
