Hello,

I have commented on two articles on bleepingcomputer.com. When I click on my username in the comments, I arrive on my Profile page, which doesn't show/link to the articles I have commented on. I was just thinking, it would be nice to also be able to see maybe a list of hyperlinked chunks of all my article comments so that if I want to, I can visit the article from my profile.

Or is there another page that offers that? Sorry, I'm new here.

Thanks!

Let me see if there is a way I can do that, as the comment system is not part of the forums, which the profile is part of.

Hi, Welcome to BC.

Once get going here you Click on your Name top right then Click on My Content.  This will display what you have been doing.   If do not post much it is sorta off.

(For me I have pages and pages.)

That's for the forum content, not news articles.

Thank you for looking into it! No issues if it can't be done because they are separate systems. It has been years (maybe a decade, gosh!) since the last time I was on a forum, but if I now remember it correctly, no forum with published articles on the same domain offered this ability, understandably because they are separate systems.

Thanks again!

Yes, I had tried clicking "My Content," and as Lawrence said, I found it showing my forum post, not article comments.

Thanks! Yeah, I ensured the box for email notifications was checked when I posted my comments. I now realize this actually offers what I was looking for -- to know if/when/whenever there is a new comment after I have made a comment on an article. So, there is no need for my forum profile to show hyperlinked chunks of my article comments separately, just because I keep manually visiting those articles to check if there is/are a/any new comment/s.

Thank you for helping me realize that!

Although you're satisfied the suggestion in my opinion is still highly valid

The gentleperson nicknamed "Sec & Web Browser Enthusiast" points out to a feature that to a large extent solves this for us -- the check box for email notifications of new comments (and replies too, I guess), no? We will be receiving lots of emails if many people comment, though.

Edit: they pointed to the "Subscribed Articles" link/button, which takes to the list of subscribed, or email notification-enabled, articles.

The idea is still valid as it could enable an option for digest mode to receive notifications on a specific set time frame

Instant
Daily
Weekly
Monthly

That would prevent spam behavior
