This is sad to hear.

Basically because I cant stand 1 member here.
Moderators are supposed to have thick skins and not get easily upset.
You could just ignore that member.
Although there doesn't seem to be an 'Ignore' button here.
I'll occasionally get criticism and abuse on the fora where I moderate, all mods do, it's part of the job and just bounces off.
Russian is a particularly good language for insults, as we are finding when they complain that their software no longer works because of the sanctions over Ukraine.
(Of course being a mod you have the option to restrict or even to ban them if they are breaking forum rules).

Good luck in what you do next Nick.
I understand that you have reached a brick wall that you feel you cannot climb over.
@Nukecad I am sure that Nick know all about how to ignore folk if he feels he has to. However this seems it has gone beyond that point.
Move on Nick and enjoy the rest of your life.

I understand your position, Nick.
You are passionate about situations that test our survival.
You've had to act as a moderator along with the restrictions inherent to this website and 'free speech' within our society
You've done it well.
But, frustration takes it's toll, with everyone.
Hope you keep posting. Your thoughts are important.
Johnny.

I apologize for not responding to this sooner as I was out of town.
Thank you for all you have done at BleepingComputer. Your help has been invaluable over the years.
It hurts to see you resign but you need to do what you need to do.
