Installing Outlook on New PC

I have a new PC and will install Outlook on it. To have access to all prior email I should copy the PST files from the old PC and move to the new PC, correct? How do I get the new Outlook to work with several PST files?

While installing Outlook on a new laptop it asks for an IMAP password. I use earthlink and they do not have IMAP passwords. How do I work around this?
