Power PDF 2.1 printing final pages in landscape, as opposed to portrait

I've been using Power PDF for many years. When I combine multiple documents into one PDF, it has just recently started to print the final page of any of the documents in landscape format (if it is not a full page). It appears as a portrait page on the computer.

 

I have checked the printer settings and printed on 3 different printers, so it doesn't seem to be the printer.

 

I tried an online PDF combine files version, using the same files, and they printed fine, so it doesn't appear to be the printers.

 

I have the program installed on another computer, and the same thing is happening with that computer on a different printer.

 

Does anyone have a fix for this?

According to their website, the current version is version 5.x
Version 2.1 may be out of support & buggy.
So, perhaps it would be advisable to update?

Edit: Having said all that, there are many other free & paid PDF utilities and many such features are now built-in to modern browsers, modern Office suites, etc. In other words, there may be alternatives to Power PDF.

I've been looking into upgrading, but was actually wondering if that would have the same problem.

 

I primarily use the program to combine files (often 20 or more, mostly word and PDF documents).  This program came with a separate PDF Create program, but that is now doing the same thing.

 

Is there any program (not online) that would be a simple pdf editor that would also allow me to combine all types of files into one PDF?

"Save as PDF" is built-in to MS Word (I don't know if that's also the case with LibreOffice or other alternatives). So, it shouldn't be necessary to try to combine Word files with PDF files.
Just save your Word documents as PDFs.

And I'm only familiar with Adobe Acrobat Pro, but I expect that most or all free & paid PDF editors can combine PDF files.

I don't have a fix for this, but as workaround, you could continue to use Power PDF to create your documents, save them, then open the PDF in the free Adobe Reader, or any web browser, and print them from there.

 

Or are you saying that it's the Power PDF files that are faulty and they exhibit the same problem regardless of the app used to print them?
 

Thanks for your suggestion.  I'm guessing that my version of PowerPDF is too old, so I'm looking into alternatives.  There are workarounds, but I'm better off spending $60 for a new program, like PDFXChange, I guess.
