When I print a snippet image it does not print the whole image.  It always cuts off the right side of the image.

Are there simple instructions that I can follow to remedy this issue

Thanks

Hi:

Are you referring to the Windows Snipping Tool?

If so, it would help if you could please tell us: what Edition & version of Windows do you have?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/which-version-of-windows-operating-system-am-i-running-628bec99-476a-2c13-5296-9dd081cdd808#WindowsVersion=Windows_10

Example: Windows 11 Home 23H2

Thank you

Thanks for the info.

It sounds like a problem with your margin settings on your printer, or perhaps the "paper size" setting?

Are you trying to print the picture directly from the Windows clipboard, or are you pasting it into MS Word or another program?

I played around with the margin setting, paper size and set it to print in landscape but no joy.

I am pasting the image into a word document first and then I  print.

Hmmm. well it sounds as if it's something to do with your "page setup" and/or margin settings in Word.

What version of MS Office do you have?

Have you tried resizing the image to something smaller before trying to print it?

I have not been able to find anything in page set up or margins to rectify the issue.

I  am using Microsoft  Word 2003.

Resizing does not help either.

I suspect the problem lies with your printer configuration or settings and/or something in your Word settings.

Not sure if it's something simple (easy to fix), or something more complicated.

(FWIW Word 2003 is very obsolete and no longer supported. I'm not sure that's a direct factor, but it does make it harder to troubleshoot.)

Here's a link for your printer user manual - perhaps there's something helpful:

Support page:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/setup-user-guides/hp-officejet-pro-6970-all-in-one-printer-series/model/11161264

That's all I've got....
Sorry....

Well I finally figured it out.

1) do a special save and save it as a Bitmap picture  and not a PNG

That must be some sort of "bug" or glitch between the printer & Word 2003.
I don't understand why BMP would work, but not PNG.
I'm glad you found a solution.

Thanks for letting us know.
