I have a chromebook where I have several google accounts. Now with google chrome, I have that setting where the google chrome pages continue where you left off. I also use a free vpn as well.

Now on one of my google account, normally what happens is after I log into my chromebook, I then open my free VPN. Then I click on google chrome and it would open a ton of my chrome tabs where I left off. So it could be 100 chrome tabs even across 20 chrome pages etc. What I notice now is everytime I log into my chromebook, there is a notification on the right that shows up where you could click on it for a short time only and if you click it, it would then open all your chrome tabs from where you left off last time. The thing though is I always want to open my free VPN program first before I open my chrome tabs. Now because of this, I can no longer go to my old chrome tabs because I first have to open the free VPN program first. It's a free VPN from google play. Now even if I don't open the free VPN first, it seems I still can't open my last chrome tabs.

Now my 2nd google account that I log into the chromebook with. Now after I enter my password to log in, there is that message on the right side similar to like the 1st google account example. The difference here is whether I open the free VPN program first or not, after doing it, I can click on the bottom right and then click on that message and then it would open up all my chrome tabs from where I last left off.

Now does anyone know why I have this issue with my main google account that I use? It doesn't give me the option to even open my last chrome tabs because that message goes away. Compare that to the other google account where you can click on it on the bottom right and then it opens all the old chrome tabs.

Does anyone know why I have this issue with my 1st google account with this?

@paulyjustin:

This appears to be unrelated to Windows 10.

Still having this issue with my main google account on my chromebook.  The moment I sign into my main google account, there is that message on bottom right corner of restore where clicking it would restore all my old chrome tabs that was opened before I signed off.  The issue is I first need to turn on my free vpn first... before I want to click on that.  The issue is the moment I even click on the free vpn... that restore message on the bottom right goes away.  So when I connect to the vpn or not connect to the vpn, you can't click on that message anymore.

Compare that with my other google account on the chromebook.  That restore message on bottom right is there.  I then go and click on the vpn program to connect to it.   Then when I click on the bottom right corner, I can still click on a message that restore all my chrome tabs.

So why is it I am having this issue with my main google account and not the other one?  This has absolutely nothing to do with the freevpn.   The reason is because the moment I sign into my main google account on the chromebook, if I wait a while or don't click on it fast, that message goes away.

So this is strange. On the main google account, it seems the chrome windows open up the moment I log into the chromebook. I can't even open the free vpn first.

But on the 2nd google account where I log in, I could click on the freevpn and then click on the message on the bottom right of my chrome windows and then it opens all the old chrome windows. The issue is now it only opens 1 old chrome window?
