Have an old chromebook that has limited space but that is one of the last few issues.  Has a messed up screen as the only way the screen doesn't go dark is if you literally push the monitor all the way back like a

bed and let it lie on the table.  Also several keys on keyboard doesn't work.  Also there isn't any more updates as the chrome updates has expired?

Got a new chromebook that is faster and also more space.  This old chromebook is basically unusable almost.  Now as you are aware, you have to use a gmail account to login.  Now i have several gmail accounts and use it to web browse, stream and download.  Because of the limited space, i then transfer any new videos to an external hard drive and or the cloud.  At the moment, i have almost no files on my old chromebook by that i mean videos and pictures.  However, i am not exaggerating, i have almost close to 50 chrome tabs that is visible when you click on the chrome icon... however... you click on any of these chrome icons, there are minimum ten tabs in each one and that is being extremely generous.  Some have thirty or or more tabs.  There is probably at least a thousand total chrome tabs from those 50 chrome windows.  So sometimes it freezes and then have to restart it.  Last time it was similar or maybe less... but i then went to each chrome tab... let say there are ten tabs in each one.  Would the make all those tabs with that one chrome window favorite and it turns into a yellow folder and i name it.  Then i close the chrome tab which would then close all the tabs within... could be a few or even up to thirty tabs... not exaggering.

Now i have all those yellow folder favorite on this old chromebook?  How would i transfer all these folders to my new chromebook?  What is the easiest way?  Remember i only did this a while back because i had way too many chrome tabs and chrome tabs from within each one?

The thing is right now i have almost 50 chrome tabs if you click on that chrome icon at the bottom.  And within each tab, could be a few or up to thirty chrome tabs or even more.  Estimating there are a total of a thousand chrome tabs total and want to do the same thing like last time where i turn each chrome tab into a favorite folder and rename it.... so then this old chromebook would free up some space... though i won't be using it anymore as will be using the new chromebook.  Also is the term favorites or bookmarks?  Basically at the moment if i look at my old favorites folders/bookmarks, the moment i open one of them... then they open up and could be a few chrome tabs opened with that window up maybe as much as 50 tabs.  Yes i have an extreme amount of chrome tabs.  So my plan with the new chromebook is just have all these chrome pages/tabs as favorites... so that way i only open them when i want to not slow my new chromebook.  So how would i go about this?  i know how to make favorites with these chrome tabs i have now but how i transfer it to the new chromebook?

At the moment, i logged in the new chromebook with a new gmail account i created.  i do plan to login my old chromebook accounts on the new chromebook as well.  So basically imagine getting to access my new and old gmail accounts on this new laptop

So what is the simplest way here?  i can have both chromebooks opened at once as well if that is necessary?

The thing is if you log into the new chromebook with an older gmail account from the older chromebook, i have to assume you can't transfer these bookmarks this way?  Again im not sure if you call it favorites folder or bookmark folder.  When i click on those three dots on chrome, then bookmarks i see a ton of saved webpages... or saved folders that contain ton of more web pages from within... like how you might have two chrome tabs only but each one might have 50 tabs etc.

Or because it's through chrome, it just imports in a new chromebook?  can't imagine this being the case.

Sorry, but your post + auto-replies are TL:DR, especially with ten or more embedded questions.

And I don't use Chrome or a Chromebook.

But a routine internet search of "How to move Chrome favorite folders from old chromebook to new chromebook?" turns up these (and many more) in about 10 seconds, for starters:

Good luck!

So this is what i did with my old bookmarks.  On the old chromebook, went to bookmarks animport bookmarks.  After doing that, it created a file that was about ten mb or so.  On the same old chromebook, i uploaded this ten mb file to several of my gmail accounts including the same one right now on the olchromebook.  Seems like you can click on it or download the ten mb file, then it has all your bookmarks available to click on?  So send this same ten mb file to my new chromebook gmail account or just log into one of my old gmail accounts in the new chromebook and open or download that ten mb file and that's how you do it?

However, the correct way for the bookmarks to show up in new chromebook would be download the ten mb file on new chromebook.  Then open chrome and export that ten mb file?

what exactly you mean by that?

When i go to www.gmail.com, it goes to my email.  But that's how chromebooks work with gmail.

Or you mean something else?
