Hi,

I run DOS programs under NTVDM in windows 10.

I went to work this morning and ran an old windows program I have been using since 1996 and it won't run. I changed the system date to 2nd January 2019 and it works fine. I figure the easy way around is to run a batch file from NTVDM

date 01-03-19

my program.exe

rem change the date back to today somehow

Date 01-03-19 does nothing, but if I run this from Windows I get 'A required priveledge is not held by the client'

Can anyone help with this?

Regards

Geoff

I'm not sure this will work but check these two links on elevating the batch file to run as Administrator.
