Kinda simple question but what is a god way to start to encrypt personal data like passwords and files, is there any software that does it overall well or are there other programs that excel in specific parts of encryption of data?

Best regards to all, PWRbuster

The free 7-Zip utility allows a password and compresses your file(s) as a bonus.

All viruses are malware but not all malware are viruses and if the malware doesn't self replicate it just isn't a virus. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/profile/17252-1pw/
