Hi,

What type of data are you planning to encrypt? Are the file sizes large?  Which platforms do you want to encrypt/decrypt on?

Hello @dphenry157

Wouldn't 7-Zip be adequate?

The extra added compression factor is a plus.

It's already baked into Windows/macOS systems.

All viruses are malware but not all malware are viruses and if the malware doesn't self replicate it just isn't a virus. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/profile/17252-1pw/
