Rider Proud!

2 and 0 on the road

29 - 21 over Edmonton

33 - 30 over Hamilton

Too soon to predict anything.

We will see how they do when Hamilton comes to Regina on Sunday evening.

Cheers!

I watched Thursday's game with Ottawa vs Montreal.

What an embarrassing first half for Ottawa.

Cody Fajardo has made a great comeback after his injury with the Riders.  He was in a slump after he got hurt.

When it came time to renew his contract, the Riders were not willing to pay the money he wanted, due to his  poor performance.

Since Anthony Calvillo started coaching him in Montreal, Fajardo has made a great come back.

Still, it is too early in the season to call any of the games in November.

Tuppence,

Yes Montreal is now very good.   Was a embarrassment as you say.

Jason Maas is making it good as well. Makes him look good...lol

Calvillo is now : offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach so will need to see which he calls and Maas calls.

Maas has all time 39-33 record so far.  Will have to see when gets a tighter game if has the coaching skills.

Riders are now 3 - 0, with the TiCats at 0- 3.

Last night's game started well for the Riders, then Trevor Harris took a hit and limped off the field.

My first thought was, "Here we go, again! Another season of QB roulette!"

Even though Harris was dressed and warming up in the second half, they chose to leave Patterson on the field.

Shea Patterson was a little shaky, at first.  He managed to settle down and hold the lead.

AJ Ouellette was a major help on the field, with 145yds, in both carries and catches for Saskatchewan.

Sorry, I missed the BC/Wpg game.  I heard it was a nail biter, with the clock running out just as Winnipeg got into field goal range.

Cheers!

Hi, ya did not pay too much attention to the game myself.  Sorta 2 things at once but was some good throwss

But ya Riders 3-0, as long as T-Cats have Mitchell who is no longer useful other than to throw interceptions they will be in the dumpster.

Riders on a bye next week back July 4th.

Ya is nice the Lions came out on top of the Bombers for a change.  That needs to happen in the Western Final.

Lions up by 2 with 2:30 left and then forced Bombers to punt and we went 2 plays down field then 3 for the knee down :=}, pissing them off thoroughly.

Did not ever think that QB Adams was that good but is tossing them the way we live die, deep...just under 400yds passing, again.

Is a little weird watching both NFL and CFL to see some of the best players when had season tickets now having their kids play...

I missed the BC game this weekend, but I did get to watch Winnipeg at Calgary.

Only one touchdown each, in the whole game.

I think the Stampeders scored as many Rouges as they did field goals.

Zach Collaros took a hit in the first half, so the Bombers had Chris Streveler as QB for the rest of the game.

Chris did well for himself.

The ending was classic.

In the first overtime possession, Calgary intercepts in their own end zone, but takes a major penalty after the play.

That puts them out of field goal range.  After a short gain, Paredes kicked a 52-yarder to win it for Calgary.

Cheers!

Naught
