Why is it that AC hoses don't fit? They are the same diameter as the holes they are supposed to fit into. So they have to be taped, but even duct tape and gorilla tape don't hold very long. It's a real mess.

Tell us the Make and Model you are using and the type of hose you are trying to fit.

Then we can move forward

It doesn't matter the make n model, they're all the same, n there's only 1 type of hose. But fyi I now have a Danby Premiere n the hose is stretchable.

It depends on what type of hose many have pressure connectors.

Not my field, but I would be very surprised if the weren't several different types of hose as Danby have a considerable range of products

There's nothing that comes with them, and they would say it in the instructions.

How do you expect anyone to offer you assistance, if you leave us in the dark about your problem and what it is with.

Among other things, it's rare for hoses to plug into holes. This is why I am asking our OP to tell us more.

Hoses usually fit over pipes and have a jubilee clip, type thingy, to hold them firm

I haven't left u in the dark at all. Wtf are u talking about? Like I told you, ther are no accessories that come with it, and the instructions would mention them. The AC has a hose with 1 end  that is supposed to fit into the opening in the panel that goes in the window, n the other end that is supposed to fit into the AC itself. Neither end fits, so tape has to be put around the ends so they can be attached, but even duct tape or gorilla tape does not hold for very long. If u don't want to help me or don't know what I'm talking about, just say so, n don't make nonsensical accusations.

Are you sure that you haven't purchased their De-humidifier, as opposed to their Air Conditioner?

[Venting ON]

Patrouilleur12, you are not helping yourself while ignoring our numerous requests for further info, more specifically, the AC model number.  Looks like you picked up an abandoned AC unit on the street and trying to install it yourself at home.  Some pieces might be missing because the exhaust hose is not supposed to be tied with duct or gorilla tape.  The AC unit comes with adapter modules and many other parts.

[Venting OFF] :lmao:

Just for the kick of it, I punched in duck-duck-go:

Danby Premiere Air Conditioner installation manual

and picked up a random Danby model.  Installation instructions are pretty straightforward.

Good Luck!

:hello:

I did not ignore ''numerous'' requests for further information,  ther were only 2, n I answered the 1st, n I did not return to this thread until now, so I did not see the request for the model number. And I obviously got the model from a store. And you can't consult the owner's manual on the Danby site unless you have the SKU no., which u don't have n I'm  unable to access it bcz it's somewhere that I can't see it close up, n it's too  small anyways. And I can't find the owner's manual, but I know there were no instructions concerning any adapter modules.

In the meantime I looked it up on a couple of websites, n both say to use foil tape, n I contacted both but they did not reply. I also contacted the company n they asked for pictures, which I have some trouble providing, but did not answer the question so far, but I am pursuing the matter. All things I should have done b4 instead of being insulted by you people. And I'm done here.
