Don't drive it into a ditch.

They say beauty lies in the eye of the beholder but it does look like somebody copied the cockpit out of a Northrop F117 and stuck a wheel in each corner.

UGLY
I agree, completely.
Absurdly heavy and initial reports I've read, it doesn't compare well as a recreational off road machine.
Charging times are very lengthy especially on a home charger.
I find that unacceptable.
edit....240 v charging
Still too long, imo.

And towing, the range is terrible.

I've seen reports that the Ford Lightning has similar issues.
I would think the Rivian, also.

Apparently there are rusting issues also:

This, in any vehicle, is a deal breaker for me.
I came across this......the Cybertruck is 'steer by wire'.
https://www.topspeed.com/2024-tesla-cybertruck-test-drive/
If you haven’t heard, you should know Cybertruck is equipped with a steer-by wire system. This means there is nothing connecting the steering wheel and the wheels. It may sound implausible; however, all communication from the steering column to the wheels is done electronically, in theory to optimize responsiveness and, contrary to what I imagined driving the Cybertruck would be like, it was remarkably maneuverable.
I wouldn't get into one even as a passenger.
Tesla has trouble making safe accelerator pedals.

And the Wiper Motor can't handle the Giga Wiper. Tesla is no longer replacing the wiper motors until they can find a better solution.

Cyber, perhaps, but not a truck. Can it hitch 10K pounds? As mentioned, Tesla is known for it poor quality construction. Stay away and avoid at all cost. Your life depends on it.

Adaptability looks sketchy.
Fitting a snow plow looks difficult.
The cab and bed are one piece. So no flat beds nor conversions to tow or utility trucks unless Tesla redesigns it.
I don't see the farming community embracing them.
IMO, it's a large and heavy, expensive futuristic cartoon vehicle, with a small bed. A fad.

It's designed for "Poseurs", just like the "Range Rover" which became known as the "Chelsea Tractor"

Not impressive.
I remember putting a $150 used cap on a 1974 C20 Chevy pkup that looked better, sturdier and more secure, and had windows.
I could drive anywhere, long trips or short, with out having to 'take it down'.
