My apologies if this isn't the correct area to put this. Please move, if needed.

The following should come as no surprise to anyone paying the slightest attention to Russia. Putin has reaffirmed an apparent multual-protection alliance with Russia, created one with N. Korea, and appears to be working to cement a larger alliance by visiting other countries, including Vietnam. To me, this suggests that he is gearing up for the possibility of WWW3, much as Hitler did with Italy, Russia and Japan. To clarify, Russia and Germany had a non-aggression pact, whereas Germany, Italy and Japan had an alliance.

Pursuant to section 1(a)(i) of E.O. 14024, DeepCool, because it has been supplying computer equipment to the Russian government in violation of US sanctions against Russia, has itself been placed on the highest sanctions list, Gamers Nexus reported a couple of hours ago on their YouTube channel.
https://youtu.be/LjZp_pt-Gfs?t=1198

"DeepCool was placed on this list for having supplied over $1M worth of their products, which happens to be on a high priority list of items that the US government has marked as contributing and critical for Russia's war efforts. [Beijing DeepCool Industries] is accused of supplying them to two companies -- neither of them are Russian government entities."

This sanction list prevents all commerce between US companies and DeepCool, says the firm that GN consulted. One of the 2 aforementioned companies is a manufacturer of computer equipment, while the other is a logistics (transportation) company - AKTSIONERNOE OBSHCHESTVO TASKOM and OOO NOVYI AI TI PROEKT.

Here's a link to the US government's fact sheet, which shows far more than just DeepCool.

Also named by the USA are the following PRC companies with their Russian partners for various sanctions violations (which shouldn't be surprising since China doesn't kowtow to US policy):

And the list goes on and on, including support from (unsurprisingly) staunch Russian ally Belarus, UAE, Türkiye, the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, and Singapore.

If you have a business partnership with DeepCool (or any other company on the list), you should postpone any business dealing to avoid falling under the scrutiny and sanctions of the US government, unless you can secure an exemption. If you have existing inventory for sale, I suggest that you contact the Dept. of State for guidance.

Full sanctions will be applied by July 27, if I'm not mistaken. This will apply to all DeepCool USA subsidiaries, and any companies that DC owns 50% or more of.

SANCTIONS IMPLICATIONS [from the US Dept. of State from above-listed link]
As a result of today’s sanctions-related actions, and in accordance with E.O. 14024, as amended, all property and interests in property of the designated persons described above that are in the United States or in possession or control of U.S. persons are blocked and must be reported to the Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Additionally, all entities and individuals that have ownership, either directly or indirectly, 50 percent or more by one or more blocked persons are also blocked.
All transactions by U.S. persons or within (or transiting) the United States that involve any property or interests in property of designated or otherwise blocked persons are prohibited unless authorized by a general or specific license issued by OFAC or exempt. These prohibitions include the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any blocked person and the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person.
The power and integrity of U.S. government sanctions derive not only from the U.S. government’s ability to designate and add persons to the SDN List, but also from its willingness to remove persons from the SDN List consistent with the law. The ultimate goal of sanctions is not to punish, but to bring about a positive change in behavior.
Petitions for removal from the SDN List may be sent to: OFAC.Reconsideration@treasury.gov. Petitioners may also refer to the Department of State’s https://www.state.gov/sanctions-delisting/ page.

If I have frustrated you, then I must be a student. If I've imparted information or a skill to you, then I must be a teacher. If I've helped you, then I must be a volunteer. If I've touched your life, then I must be happy!
If you had to choose between saving just your family, or saving 10,000 GOOD people (but not your family), what would you choose?
