Magellan gps how to save address and access them

I have had a Magellan gps for a couple of weeks and still have to enter new addresses most of the time. What is the best way to save address and access them. It was easier to do on a Garmin.

Also when I enter a home address and a work address they do not get saved and often the home address becomes the work address or the other way around.
