To all,

Dont know if this is the right place but here goes.  Got a F150 2010, using the indash stock Nav and touch system.  Trying to figure out source coding, and moding it for the purpose of adding my own apps etc, which ford is now doing.

Anyone know when this is at, or what language or OS it runs, any details at all?

thanks

cz

Hello czarboom,

it may run Ford Sync based on Windows Embedded Automotive.

About customization I cannot help, but may be there are devoted forum or sites to that.

Regards

Yeah its the Sync system, but thank you for the Windows info, its a side project, but I read somewhere (maybe Wired) that ford was allowing for open market apps that anyone could devolpe, and didnt know if the source code was out there.  Either way thanks again.
