Are you looking for brain dumps?  Brain dumps are helpful if you know the right answers, but you have to be able to identify the wrong answers that are posted.

If you're looking for practice tests I recommend Transcender.  Back in '99 the CompTIA exams weren't as good as their Microsoft exams, but good enough to ensure I passed.

What is an "online grind" ... I did a sample CompTIA A plus test awhile back and did reasonably well...I haven't looked at the networking one, but I'm sure I would need to brush up on that...

When are your tests?

Have you ever heard of http://www.examcollection.com/

I currently have Comptia Sec + and Windows 7 certs and I used brain dumps from here, they are awesome!

Hi shogun667,

Comptia A+ and networking course in one go is a lot, especially if you are starting in IT.

Maybe you can consider taking things slowly, one at a time so you can allow more time to fully understand and settle in. Believe me, in real life there are no shortcuts and using braindumps instead of hard study work is very tricky. Even if you get a job after passing certification (thanks to braindumps or something alike), at some point you will be asked technical questions / scenarios that you will be supposed to troubleshoot and resolve.

The problem I always had with brain dumps is that some of the answers provided are wrong and if you don't know that brain dumps won't help you.  If you go to a brain dump site you need to be going to see the questions that were asked, not the answers that they gave.

I'm also doing the A+ in view to do Networking+ next... as well as my study here at BC

Actually learning the material is the best way compared to just being able to answer the specific questions, then you will have a full understanding of the material... Which is actually the objective.

PM'd some good reference OP...

I used Pass4sure to study for the Comptia A+ and pasted both parts by over a 100 points. I just bought the Pass4sure for Comptia Network+ and studying right now, will leave a message if I pass at the end of the month.

If you are studying for the A+ and N+ then you could do no worse than visit this site for practice questions which are up to date and often with explanations

That's actually a pretty nice site, very ad free and fairly well presented.

I did some of the tests though, ... there are too many wrong answers on the site. I don't recommend it. Not an accurate study tool.

5 questions out of the first 40 have incorrect answers... that's pretty bad actually.

That's why I said that brain dumps should be to learn the questions, not the answers.
