Set Windows Services To Default Startup

A service is an application almost like any other. The difference between services and other programs is that they run in the background and don’t have a user interface you can click or tap on. Sometimes, when some of the Windows services configured with wrong startup setting it can cause issues like not able to connect to network or share files on network etc.. Batch script i have created will restore default startup state of all  Windows OS default services.

Windows operating systems versions this batch script applies to:

  • Windows XP

  • Windows Vista

  • Windows 7

  • Windows 8

  • Windows 8.1

  • Windows 10
