How to print your Homegroup password when you are being shown Error code 2147500037

When you create a Windows 7 homegroup and attempt to print your homegroup password, Windows may return an error that states:

Your homegroup password couldn't be printed
An error occurred while Windows was trying to print your homegroup password. (Error code: 2147500037)

This error is displayed when Internet Explorer is not your default web browser. To fix this error, and allow you to print your homegroup password, you first need to set Internet Explorer as your default web browser. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the following mini-guide:

How to change the default web browser in Windows

When done printing your homegroup password, you can then use the same instructions above to change back to your normal default web browser.

Thank you for the info. Very useful, but what on earth does my internet browser have to do with printing a page from my computer?
