Rsync missing from Debian 12.6

When Debian 12.6 the new release is installed debian-live-12.6.0-amd64-xfce.iso,

SHA256:4861f657d28dfef1b097a4c5ea8bb7b3c49acaa13ea9c3f5dd2e439a3adadb30

When using the live version Rsync is present but when Debain 12.6 is installed the command Rsycn is not installed and not present on the system. Searching through Debian forum this issue was presented since version 12.2 but the issue still exists.

Why would the live version have Rsync and the installed version lack the command ?

Why not install it from source.

Did you not try

apt search rsync

Not everyone who uses linux uses rsync so maybe they removed it.

https://packages.debian.org/stable/net/rsync
