I stopped creating partitions years ago...when I install Mint on my 500GB SSD the installer creates the Boot Partition 512MB and the Root partition is the rest of the Drive 465GB.  :bananas:

I would show you but it seems I'm not allowed to show or post images.  Motherboard is UEFI and I have a 50GB VM and don't dual boot either and have wine installed too. :thumbup2:

You're nearly there, Bob. The point at which you can post attachments, etc, is 20 posts. I believe it used to be 10, but the lower limit got bumped up because we were getting so many spam merchants abusing the service (this was before I joined the staff, so it's going back some years...)

Me, I've never bothered with attachments on ANY forum. I use an image-hosting site instead (PostImages), and simply link to that.

Mike.

As to your Attachments you can Delete past ones that are no longer relevant by going to your Name in top Right Corner then clicking on My Settings then on the Left Side of the page that opens Click on Mange Attachments and delete ones no longer needed.

Thanks Mike,

Wasn't aware of that...sometimes it's easier to post an image.  The only spam I know of comes in a can and I wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole.  :thumbup2:

As far as I know the 25 post restriction (not 20) applies to adding a signature to your posts, not to the ability to add images. However adding images to a post on BC is not an entirely intuitive process, here is my canned post on how to do it -

For information - how to add an image or other file to a post

First of all create your image/file and save it somewhere where you can find it, then start a new post.

In the bottom of the new post text box you will see , at the bottom right, 'More reply options'. When you are ready to add your image click on this and you get a drop-down extension to the 'new post' box., it says 'Attach files'.

Click on 'Browse', find your file - an image or any other - and select it and click 'Open'. You will see that the file is now listed.

Next, click 'Attach this file' and the view changes to having a blue/gray band with a thumbnail of the image and its name. At the right hand end of this band you will see 'Add to post/Cancel. Select 'Add to post' and that's it.

Only one small note of caution - it will insert wherever the insertion point is in your post, so make sure the insertion point is where you want it.
