In the end, there needs to be a proper effort to find a universally applicable way of disabling secure boot. A manhattan project of a volunteer development effort, to ensure secureboot can never become impossible to disable. Spectre proved there are flaws in hardware which can never be patched, some of those need to be found against secureboot. There also needs to be an effort to properly reverse engineer all the major models of computers, down to board level schematics, so if bypassing has to involve soldering irons folks will know which traces to break and/or jumper. The danger might not be with us yet, but I can see what the guy in the video is warning of, especially with big-tech being so closely married now to big-government.
Back to visiting this site, every so often, been so busy in previous years.
