This is a forum!! if you can' t answer the question I suggest if you do not answer my post.

Why would mxlinux remove LVFS, which is built into Debian and mxlinux is based on Debian, if LVFS is a very helpful function ?

Ask the creators of mxlinux. No one can answer that but them.

Good. So you demonstrated that it is an easy process to install. Going back to my original question, Why would mxlinux remove it ? It provides an essential service.

They didn't remove it had they removed it then it wouldn't be reinstallable by APT. And as the email states above from one of mx linux developers.

Please learn to read and troll less.

You enclosure states to just install it. since it i lready in Debian why should a user install fwupd ? That means it was removed from the Debian it is built on and does not exist on 21.3 which i tested.

Does it exist natively on 23 thr latest version without installing ?

It exists install it and quit trolling.

We've answered your questions you are just lazy if you love debian so much, then why don't you just use debian and stop using mx-linux.

Nope but that doesnt constitute that MX Linux Team removed it.  Removal would make it unavailable for install from the repo.

So again quit trolling.  No wonder you get banned from so many other forums.

Also if you dont like what MX Linux is doing and you love the Debian way, then get to https://www.debian.org and download Debian and use it that way you wont be so full of complaints in places where you wont get help or assistance.  Or continue to act the way you do, and continue to be banned from communities.

Again they didn't remove it. You can still install it. Again read the screenshot if the email I received from the dev team of Linux. I can see why you get banned you can't read.
