I am not discussing where they put software. I am discussing the change log in which they describe changes and time lines for changes. The fact I see the update and can download through updates means i can obtain the file if I want.

And I showed you where the official chsnge logs are for all changes made. WHY IS THAT SO DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND AND COMPREHEND? and you say you are extremely knowledgeable in networking I'm raising my flag on that claim.

How long have you been using computers and linux?

Proof I do know what I am talking about.

The change log is not located on https://mxrepo.com. why would mxlinux place two web sites with change logs.

Please give an example  of the full URL of the change logs located in https://mxrepo.com.

I do not know how you found that URL from the main https://mxrepo.com as I cannot find a link, but I can definitely say it does not make sense to place two change logs locations. One in Github and another in mxrepo.com/... which is the valid change log ?

Read the email above from the Dev Team of MX Linux. Yes they replied to me and answered your question and told you github isn't the official repo and I highly doubt you have an extreme knowledge of networking.

The above URL is queried each and everytime you run

apt install

apt update

apt upgrade

apt dist-upgrade

apt search

Or any other apt command that requires a query to mxrepo or any other repository listed and defined in /etc/apt

Now quit trolling.

I've answered you.

The URL above is derived from here

For MX-23:
deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/ bookworm main non-free (for MX-23 Main repo)

For MX-21:
deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/ bullseye main non-free (for MX-21 Main repo)

For MX-19:
deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/ buster main non-free (for MX-19 Main repo)

The packages in the Testing repositories haven't been through as much testing as the packages in the main repository. Although the packagers believe them to be safe occasionally issues can arise. If you want to install a package in Testing add this repository

deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/ bookworm test (for the MX-23 Testing repo)

deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/ bullseye test (for the MX-21 Testing repo)

deb http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/ buster test (for the MX-19 Testing repo)

Alright. This has gone far enough.

Dan's doing his best.....but YOU, compis, are beating a dead horse. And wilfully claiming the MX team don't know what they're doing is no excuse. As stated multiple times already, take the matter up with MX themselves. Why expect US to sort their issues out?

Thread closed.
