Before Installing Themes especially Older ones..check on what edition of GTK as there is quite a bit of incompatibility within themes and even what font is being used..so some of your installed apps may not function at all if the version they were built with is incompatible with the theme you installed... this may also be similar with QT based theming though I am not certain...

I really do like Zorin, but I refuse to "Donate" for what can more than likely be found in a repository some where

When ever I install Ubuntu I donate $20 to Canonical , I feel everybody should donate a few bucks to their favourite distribution.

I agree with that, and I do donate to Linux Mint, however do so voluntarily, some folks may not have the extra funds to donate, exactly why they're running Linux, in this case, Zorin, which we're discussing.

However if say (am am just saying) that if LinuxChic were to get the Ultimate edition & pay for it, should also receive the support that an equal version of the OS would receive with any other brand. Same with their Professional offering.

While I fully agree that users should donate a few bucks once in a while to their choice of distro if able to pay, if it's Zorin, may as well get the best OS they have & demand for it to be supported afterwards, not just hand them cash for a free OS. I also agree with LinuxChic in regards to rebundling software, reselling under the disguise of a donation, and they in turn give nothing to those who wrote the original software choices, or probably even Canonical for that matter for providing a base for their OS to be written on.

Though just to get my hands on the OS to see what's there, would gladly donate w/out hesitation for their Ultimate OS, if only they'll provide the details of what I'm getting for my donation by email. They've had three chances to provide this, and am not going to make it look like I'm begging by further contact.

Which is OK, Linux MInt will continue to get my yearly donation, along with a couple of other Free software choices that I use often & feel that it's only right to donate to. I haven't ran Zorin OS in some time, so they're not getting a cent out of me.

Pride comes before a fall. Regret the delay, LinuxChic!

I believed that gnome-color-chooser was the answer, and it has a really good pink theme you might like, called "Illustrious" - but so far I have not been able to install and operate it properly, sorry.

I noted in my travels references to GTK, and perhaps shadow-warrior has a better grasp of it?

If I learn the answer soon, I will let you know.

Also, I DO have a good handle on adding wallpapers, including a pink one I am fond of. Let me know if you wish the details.

Humbly, :wizardball:
