Here's a slightly different 'take'; a custom, re-mastered personal version of 01micko's classic 'Slacko' 5-series.......in this case, 5.6.0. Based around Slackware 14.0, this and the follow-up, Micko's brilliant 5.7.0, have always been among the most stable & easy-to-use 32-bit Puppies.

It's got the usual elements.....like the "infocenter" over on the right-hand side, though laid out a bit differently to emphasise this IS an older Pup. Plus a modified Puppy-original wallpaper.

 

Kernel - k4.1.48

Glibc- 2.20

 

It runs up-to-date browsers & other apps, courtesy of a Bionicpup32 'chroot'. I have one for each arch, since I also run jrb's 'lite' spin on Barry's old Quirky64 'April' 7.0.1, which is Tahrpup-era (and my daily-driver).....the 64-bit chroot is based on Fossapup64.

 

A personal favourite of mine.
