Got to laugh.

I have never used a email address that was not a alias.  Since the 1st email online mail site Rocketmail.com 27 years ago on 1997

Left AOL and never looked back.   Evan a alias with that.

Rocketmail was bought to make Yahoo mail 2013.

My Geocites email was converted to Yahoo after buying it and running Geocites into the ground.

Wow a lot of email addresses torched because of being bought out.

The down fall of ICQ which there was a article yesterday closing.  They were bought out by Russians in 2010 so stopped using my 5 aliases but everyone I knew was dead or moved on.  Had a very coveted ICQ # that was always had attempts to steal.  Was a 4 digit number.

Excite, Altavista, they all went poof with Yahoo, Google, MS being and offering Hotmail.

Sorta a time line of the best for their time of sites and email.
