How many emails are in your Gmail? Go on Google Chrome and delete some if there is a lot.

Not much. Maybe a 2-3 thousand max.

Hi, just looking at Speccy Report : It would seem that your Symantec Endpoint Security maybe seriously out of date.  This may interfere with your Outlook 2019.

Not completely sure as it is known that Speccy can report things wrong.    So what we have seen is : Symantec Endpoint Protection : Product Version : 14.3.10148.8000

Am going from this Release : https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/154575  which can not see your version on it but would fit sometime in 2023.

The MTB Report shows a error with Product Version : 14.3.10148.8000.105      Date: 2024-05-14 19:27:55   So this sorta matches.   Please Check.

As well the MTB Report is throwing out a Defender Error which was from 2021 of Duplicate Defender installed.

So could you check on the Taskbar Windows Security Center and check that all is well according to the design of the program, green good stuff.. :=}

Note : Should show your Symantec in there as well and please Manually Update it to ensure it is current and protecting you.

This Error :  Date (05/14/2024 07:26:28 PM     DbxSvc) (EventID: 281) (User: )  Description: CertFindCertificateInStore failed with: (-2146885628) Cannot find object or property.

Is a Microsoft Office error as far as I can tell though there are references to Dropbox  This maybe your issue.

Am not at all sure of a fix for the above : https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=DbxSvc%29+%28EventID%3A+281%29+%28User%3A+%29+Description%3A+CertFindCertificateInStore+failed+with%3A+%28-2146885628%29+Cannot+find+object+or+property.

EDIT : it also references Crashing.

Broadcom/Symantec said I'm up to date. The status page in the client says I'm also up to date.

The plugin for SEP in outlook has been long disabled. Thought that caused the issue.

The DropBox issue has been ongoing it seems. People are complaining about systems crashing, not Outlook.

Defender is set to manual.

For post #2:

3 : Did. No issues.

In that case it means that there's nothing wrong with Outlook and the problem's likely to be caused by an installed add-in.

Go through your list of add-ins, see if you can spot a likely culprit, disable it, close Outlook, reopen it, then see if that's fixed the problem. If not then re-enable that add-in and repeat for a different one.

First, since getting help on this issue, I haven't had a crash.

As for the add-ins, I've attached the 4 currently enabled. I'm not even sure if I need the Exchange one as I don't connect to any Exchange server or Outlook Social Connector as isn't that Skype for Business?

Ah, OK then. Let's hope it stays that way.

Hi, please do not use the Quote All Box.  Just type. If need to use a Quote these are still valid " " as well there is the Quote Tool in the Tool Bar for selective use.  Thanks.

I would suggest go with what ever as Outlook 2019 reached End of Life.  https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/outlook-2019

Note : Windows 10 End of Life October 2025.
