Not sure where to put this but I'm sure some kind person will redirect if needs be,
I've just purchased a new laptop and I'm in the process of setting it up.
No 1 - On my old Laptop I never log out of B.C. and I'm still logged in when I return.
On this new one I have to log in every time even though I have checked the *remember me* box.
Am I doing something wrong ??
No 2 - When I use smileys I'm getting ​ after the chosen image 
​ ​ ​
Why ?? and how do I get rid of it please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I will leave the permanent log-in problem to Louis but this problem - ​ - is a known bug in the forum software and you will find discussions on it in General Chat and Announcements, Comments and Suggestions.
It is a fairly weird bug because it is highly variable in its impact. Some people find it sprayed all over their posts, others never or hardly ever see it. I have only had it appear in a handful of my own posts and I know Grinler has looked into this without finding a cause. If you do find a cause please let everybody know !

It's strange that it doesn't appear on my old laptop that I'm using now (Windows 10)
I'll just have to live with it then and remember to delete it before I post

That bug comes and goes and sometimes appears on my tablets and phones and sometimes it doesn't. It is also operating system independent.
