I’m glad you found the link useful.
If you think how many millions and millions of files are entrusted to ICloud, by individuals, companies etc, and the lengths that Apple go to, to protect them and I personally have never heard of any one getting infected with malware. I personally will be trusting in Apple to keep them safe rather than using a third party AV provider to scan a file every time I want to open it, for me that is a non starter.

That's probably an eminently sensible decision on your part, 'Asinrute'.

As you can see from this image, though, a lot of folk do NOT trust Apple to cope with the task!

So it says 1. A person who believes in almost anything that apple says and gives into it'smarketing strategy

 

if that is you, then you shouldn’t doubt Apple when it says it will keep your data safe.
