Another option is REVO.
Revo Uninstaller:
Revo Uninstaller is more thorough in deleting programs on your computer than using the Add/Remove option in Windows. Since it is a more powerful tool, please be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
- Please download and install Revo Uninstaller Free
- Double click Revo Uninstaller to run it.
- From the list of programs double click on the listed program to remove it
- When prompted if you want to uninstall click Yes.
- Be sure the Moderate option is selected then click Next.
- The program will run, If prompted again click Yes
- When the built-in uninstaller is finished click on Next
- Once the program has searched for leftovers click Next.
- Check the items in bold only on the list then click Delete. You may have to expand some folders by clicking the "+" mark.
- When prompted click on Yes and then on Next.
- Put a check on any folders that are found and select Delete
- When prompted select Yes then Next
- Once done click Finish.

Windows Installer Cleanup has been removed from MS download servers. You can download it from one of the following links:Also, MS has made its own tool too, which perhaps isn't exactly this subject but it might be the answer

The utility was retired by Microsoft on June 25, 2010, due to conflicts with Office 2007. It was replaced by a Microsoft Fix It, which can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/
So if you have Office 2007 it is advisable not to use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility aka MSICUU2.exe But instead use the replacement of Microsoft Fix It It can also be used for other issues as well.
The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.

I've been using Revo Uninstaller. The pro version is better of course, you get a 30 day trial. It actually searches for leftovers and highlights the registry files associated with the program.
I wonder about programs that DON"T show up in the Add/Remove programs list. (XP-SP3). I will, however, search my downloaded program files in the c:programs files. Thanks, Grinler and also congrats on the twins :-)

Roguekiller does not have an uninstallation routine. You may simply delete it from your desktop.

I used a very good program but its only a "loaner" as you have to buy after 30 days but anyway its called Revo Uninstaller Pro, it goes through after removal and picks up the odds and ends files that are associated and gets rid of them too. very nice program, no bugs that I could see.
KCSummer: I use Revo Uninstaller too. The Pro version is certainly better, but they also offer you a scaled down version for free that you can keep. It has been helpful as a first step after you cannot find it in add/remove programs or in start-programs.

How to use Revo Uninstaller
Revo provides a listing of all installed software by installation date and when removing a program, Revo does a more comprehensive job of searching for and removing related registry entries, files and folders.
